Introduction

Technology plays a very prominent role in the development of a human being. It helps human in developing its physical, psychological and other skills or abilities. Technology also provides entertainment which is very healthy for youth. While on the other side, very long engagement in entertainment technology like media technology it can destroy human's future. The advancement in media technology like Cell phones, mp3 players, internet, video games, Television and other media applications creates a very large gap between the children and experienced persons of a family.

These technologies not only provide bad impact on the skills of growing children but also effect on its education. Those children that are using media technology with no time limits, they cannot get satisfactory grades in the examination by serving their most of time on watching TV, playing video games and serving internet. By considering the importance of reducing this bad impact government of USA recommend, technology should not be used by youth under age of two (AAP Policy, 2001, P 423-426).

Media technologies provide a very bad impact on the mental and physical development of youth if it excessively used without any limits of time. If parents limits the time of using these media advancements, then this step can reduce this impact within the acceptable level.
