Introduction

Childhood memories are an integral part of a person's life. I grew up in a small neighborhood in the city and studied in a nearby school. School taught me many things about life, not only inside the classrooms but also outside. During my early schooling years, I faced problems which seemed as if they were the end of the world, but they taught me how to remain strong on the outside. It also gave me the courage to face my fears and stand up to challenges that the world puts up. In grade school I was bullied by the other kids and did not stand up to them because I was weak, and I feared them, there was no one to help me out. I did not have anyone to look up to and felt that I was all alone in the world. Bullying is a menace that a lot of people face during their school life. (Olweus, 2006).

Discussion

The school that I studied in had a lot of bullies and they had the skill of getting away with anything. I remember my first day at school when I was confronted by the bullies who did not like me for some reason. They were two boys named Henry and James, and they both looked older than their actual age due to their heights. They gave me cruel looks during the class and I felt very uncomfortable due to their attitude towards me. It affected my concentration during the class and affected me in a negative way.
