Abstract

This paper presents case studies of various ''Womens electoral success or failure,research goes on focusing the federal level of Canadian parliament. In this study I have tried to explore the concept of women in election in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on women in election and its relation with their role in politics. The research also analyzes many aspects of women in election and tries to gauge its effect on their role in politics. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for women success in canadian politics and tries to describe the overall effect of women and their role in politics. The history derives itself from the uneasy relationship between feminist bureaucrats and a new generation of decision makers guided by the principles. Concern about the mandate of femocrats for gender equity has encountered ecorats the belief that government intervention in markets is counterproductive.

Introduction

Women have been active in Canadian political parties throughout twentieth century, but until the 1970s their participation tended to be fed into supportive roles.
