Background of Research

Nigeria is one of the countries which have made her free from the colonial regime; its economy is now moving towards growth and prosperity. The Nigerian retail stores are facing transformation in their HR policies and procedures. With every passing year, the living conditions in Nigeria has been improving, that is the reason many new retail stores are opening in this country. The retail sector is now employing new HR policies and procedures that results in increasing the company's overall productivity (Wheeler 2004, 75). The international human resource policies and procedures in the retail stores of Nigeria will be found out in the research study.

Problem Statement

The retail sector of Nigeria is facing a transforming trend in their HR policies and procedures, but still this sector has to adapt international human resource policies and procedures in their stores for the convenience of both the employers and the employee.

Aims and Objective

The purpose of the research study will be to find the international human resource policies and procedures in the retail stores of Nigeria.

Objectives

Following are the objectives to attain the aim of the research study:
