The main concept behind an advertisement is to display the product to the audience in such an appealing manner that can ultimately boost up the sales. To advertise Acura RSX-S they produced a prestigious advertisement and aired it on television to target the audience and attract them to buy it. The basic appeal of this adds is the need for prominence. It is presented in the advertisement that by possessing this car one can feel dominant. The video ad of the Acura RSX-S is simply a statement that one should purchase this car because as they provide convincing details within the video to make the audience believes that this product is better as compare to all its competitors (Murphy, 2012).

They displayed this car as a precise machine embedded with a rev limit of eight thousand revolutions per minute and produce two hundred and ten brake horsepower from a two liter engine inline four engine. They have shown in the vigorous speed and power of car by portraying it running away from tsunamis preventing head on crash. They have included any competition in their video. The main structure of the video remains consistent throughout as several different daredevil stunts were performed by the CGI version of the Acura RSX-S (Murphy, 2012).

The audience for this video is not limited as anyone could really be in the market for a car, but it is assumed that the main intention of Acura for designing and manufacturing this car as well as its thrilling advertisement is to target a more mature crowd of audience. This can be said that the RSX-S was specifically designed by focusing on the demands of older wealthier buyers as this car is basically a Honda Civic that has been given various luxurious facilities.
