Introduction

This paper will discuss the Arab Spring and its effects on the world. The paper will first discuss the history of Arab Spring and its effects on the Arab countries and the non Arab countries as well. Afterwards, the paper will discuss the Arab-Israeli Peace Process in detail.

Do you think that the so called “Arab Spring” really changed the world, and specifically international politics? Justify your answer and give examples.

The starting of Arab spring occurred in the end of the year 2010 in Tunisia. This spread like wildfire immediately from many countries of North Africa and the Middle East. Through protests and riots, the rebellions shook the autocratic systems of the region. Libya fell into a civil war, and Syria was in a stalemate, and the costly conflict between the government and the opposition continued. In other countries, such as Morocco and Jordan, the regime reacted to the social protests and therefore, their status quo stabilized in the short term.

Reasons for the increase in the willingness of the protests were the displeasure of the people with the authoritarian regime which resulted in a strong security apparatus, lack of participation of citizens and corruption in business, management and government. A significant additional cause is the high unemployment especially among the younger population which is also considered as another cause of the protest readiness and a growth in poverty. In addition, there has been an increase in the prices of food and energy which is the burden for the majority of the population.

The Arab Spring is a historic turning point in the region which has many consequences on the world in the economic, political and geostrategic terms. The Arab spring has brought changes in the international politics as well. It has left its impact not only on foreign policy of Arab counties but on the policies of all the countries in the world.

The modern communication technologies such as mobile phones, internet, as well as the reception of satellite television also promoted these protests. This high level of mobilization on the Internet has been around since the early 2000's. There is a consensus that through the use of information technology, the promotion of the protest was made ??possible.
