Introduction

In this paper, we will be discussing three advertisement and reasons for banning those ads. The ads, which we will, be discussing at present, consist of tobacco ads, which banned in UK due to the increase of drugs and inhaling items which are not good for health. The second ad we will be discussing here would be regarding the advertisements of junk food. The ads for junk foods have also been banned in UK. These ads were giving rise to obesity and health diseases in people specially teenagers. The third ad discusses the ban of car ads as they portray luxury and creates inequality among people.

Tobacco advertising

The tobacco advertisement has been banned in UK. According to the resolution prohibits all forms of tobacco advertising products or promotion in all media audio-visual and print media, broadcast or printed, or published in UK. It is also prohibited to put any banner advertising or sponsorship of matches or competitions or concerts sports, social, cultural, artistic or provide awards or gifts, which will encourage the spread or use of tobacco and its products, whether directly or indirectly in the emirate.

The advertising, promotion and sponsorship of snuff products are now prohibited ban activities in general in UK, once published in the Official Gazette (BOE) Law on health measures against smoking and regulating the sale, supply, consumption and advertising of snuff products. Although most of the Ban shall take effect, the chapter on the regulation of advertising, promotion and sponsorship of snuff products as well as the accompanying sanction non-compliance, has legal force from today it. In particular, it is forbidden "sponsored by snuff products, as well as all forms of advertising and promotion of those products in all media and formats, including vending machines and the services of the Information Society", except in for publications for professionals, presentations of products and promotions professionals themselves sealed, which may not be in the windows (Friel, 2010, 76). It shall be exempt from this rule or printed publications issued outside the European Union, if not destined to the EU market and unless they are targeted at minors. Infact, the failure of the provision relating to the advertising, sponsorship and promotion of snuff may constitute a very serious offense, which carries fines of 10,001 to 600,000 (Mercer, 2003, pp. 107).

However, in regard to motor sports, the ban provides for a moratorium of three years for those teams participating in international competitions that were signed prior to the entry into force of the law have sponsorship agreements with tobacco. The ban also prohibits outside the network of outlets of snuff and timbre of the state, "the free distribution or promotion of products, goods or services or any other ban, the aim or direct or indirect, primary or secondary, is the promotion of a product of snuff.”Likewise, no longer allows "the use of names, marks, symbols or any other distinctive signs that are used to identify traffic snuff products and, simultaneously, other goods or services ...
