The paper attempts to focus on the major types of candida infections in a holistic context. Infections from these pathogens are termed as “Candidiasis”. The major types of candida infection including the oral thrush, oesophageal thrush, cutaneous candidiasis, candida vaginitis and systemic candidiasis are discussed. Apart from that, the common treatment for these types of candida is highlighted.
