It discusses about insufficient training, guidance and poor arrangement that cause unfavorable consequences and direct towards a company's decline from inside, furthermore this paper will focus on the proposed solutions and recommendations for the issues and problems that are discussed in the case study.

Introduction

There is no doubt that training is one of the most effective tools that will serve the people and organizations to prosper and adapt to new circumstances and situations. Insufficient guidance and setting up poor plans can have very harmful outgrowth and direct towards a company's weakening from inside.

Background

Carl Robins was appointed for ABC, Inc in the Human Resource Department as a new campus recruiter and being on the job for six months, and was his first attempt at recruitment. Robins made great efforts and he successfully hired 15 new trainees for Monica in the operations department of ABC, Inc. Preparation of the department's orientation was given under supervision of with Carl by the supervisor Monica. The training schedules, brochures, books, politics, and medical examinations, and drug testing, to make sure that all the documents are completed were all responsibility of Carl Monica , the supervisor of the operations department was confident that all the arrangements would be managed in the given time.

Carl failed in scheduling the orientation for the new employees according to the plan. A few days before the programmed orientation of the new hires, Carl found unfinished and imperfect applications, incomplete medical screenings, unprepared training material, and a conflict in setting up the site of the trainings. It happened because of the deficient communication and inadequate training. Particularly, Carl's mistakes are the matter of concern and the question arises that what he should have done in the first place, the second matter of concern is the alternatives he has offered to him now to correct the mistakes he has made.

Key Problems

When there are new hires in any company the applications should be filled in completely. One of the key problems of this case study is incomplete applications. The applications submitted by the new hires were not verified for completeness and correctness at the time of submission. Companies do not hire future employees who submit incomplete applications and show irresponsibility towards work. Why Carl did not check the accurateness of the submitted applications? It is obvious that companies should not hire any employee when the application package is incomplete. Depending on the policy of the requirements of the company, there is much additional information required to be submitted on the time of hiring, without the additional requirements the application is considered incomplete and unacceptable.
