The Role of Leaders in Criminal Justice

Introduction

Criminal justice is an organization in which lawmaking and organizations are ordained to assert common order and penalize violators of the law. It is a field of criminology involving the study of crime including causes, criminal behavior and other aspects of it (Nucleolus, 2004). It is composed of law enforcement, courts and corrections. Although criminal justice is inclined more into the legislative body, leaders in its role in governance, contributes greatly in prevention of crime. Leaders should be empowered in order to administer justice to prevent crime (Tshehla, 2005).
