I have studied “Cognitive and Affective Identification: Exploring the Links between Different Forms of Social Identification and Personality with Work Attitudes and Behavior” written by Michael D. Johnson, Frederick P. Morgeson and David R. Hekman. This article was published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior in 2012. This research article focuses on the link between the cultural differences and work related attitudes in organizations and the changes in the behaviors of cross-cultural staff.

Social recognition is a multi-dimensional structure connecting both cognitive and touching magnitudes. By bearing in mind both the cognitive course to recognition and the affective direction, societal individuality research people not get an enhanced conceptualization of the put up, they also get experiential forecast (Johnson, et al, 2012). Discussion

Cultural differences within an organization cannot be defined with a single definition and a single theory. This article has described a variety of themes including affects of cultural diversity on the work attitudes of people in an organization. The behavior of an individual alters on the basis of cultural background of people. An organization having people from varying cultures may have varying attitudes of employees towards the work nature. In this age, behavior of an individual is judged by his cultural activities. People from different cultures have different point of views and different approaches towards adverse and suitable situations (Gibson & McCann, 2012, pp.307-324). It is very important for today's leaders and managers to understand the factor of cultural diversity for better performance of their organization and for better communication with the staff inside and outside the organization. Cultural differences have been explained as the linkage in one society of individuals with particularly diverse groups of cultural specifications.
