Leadership is the set of capabilities that a person has to influence the minds of people or a group of determined people, making the team work with enthusiasm, but the reality is different, in achieving goals and objectives. It is also understood as the ability to take initiative, manage, hold, promote, encourage, motivate and evaluate a group or team. In school management, leadership is the exercise of activity for the purpose of making educational systems better (within the administrative process of the school). The following essay discusses the topics related to leadership in schools and personal experiences associated with these concepts.

Topic 1

The domination of males on every field of life is to the extent that even the media does not make any positive contributions by highlighting the role of women leaders. We get to see or read hardly any reports about the prospects that are opening up for women in society, its contribution to the development of this society or the (Raelin 2011) achievements that are made by women entrepreneurs who have taken up leadership roles.

If a man seeks the culture of personal success, woman encourages more teamwork. If the conflict is more masculine, the feminine is more participatory. The eternal discussion-at this point, has always sought to distinguish the behaviour of males and females directives, and their respective effectiveness when leading others (Limerick & Anderson 1999).

At my school, I have always seen that masculine leadership has always impacted the leadership and female leaders in schools. When countries are striving for reforming their systems of education and improving the results for students through better education, school leadership is considered to be high on policy agendas of education. However, in my school, the men and women, who are running schools, are burdened and they are not paid accordingly for the work that is performed by them on leadership level.

In addition, there is various numbers of people that are lined up for employment opportunities. However, with this, the role of school leaders has changed and it is continually evolving because of the transformation in the system of education for preparing young people for functioning in today's world for rapid changes in technology, economic globalization and enhanced migration and mobility.

My school has also realized that the woman contributes a new vision and different approaches and humanizes the educational level at school. We, as women leaders, are required to be ready to adapt to the changes that have to be faced in many situations in our professional lives. Studies have shown that the communication skills of women leaders tend to be richer than those of men, especially regarding the proper management of the emotional and, most particularly as applicable to the persuasive and perceptive domain (Carlin & Goode 1999).
