Environmental Psychology

Introduction

Beauty is an abstract concept which is strongly associated with all aspects of human existence. The meaning of this word is concerned mainly with the philosophical discipline of aesthetics. In everyday life "beautiful" is usually referred to something that leaves a very pleasant impression, a nice body, a beautiful piece of music, a beautiful sequence of movements in the dance, or a fine architecture. All of this makes up the environment and the humans are strongly affected by their environment.

Environmental Psychology

Environmental Psychology studies the environmental awareness of the human being, or psychological processes involved in the relationship between physical environment and human behavior. The environmental psychology is a discipline that is part of the relationship that the individuals and groups have with the places where they live and work, and also the relationship they have with each other within these environments. From the psychological point of view, space and behavior are closely linked because every environment is practical and reflects the social components of the environment (Bonnes & Secchiaroli, 1995). On the other hand, all social interaction is mediated by the environment in which it is expressed.

The psychologist Kurt Lewin (1890-1947) was one of the first to give importance to the relationship between humans and the environment. His goal was to determine the influence that the environment has on people, the relationships they establish with each other, the way people act, react and organize themselves as per the environment. According to environmental psychology, the environment can be defined as, all the contexts in which the subject (for example, private houses, offices, schools, streets, etc.) can be developed by acting more on the behavior of group on individual behavior.

Mathematical Bases of the Universe

Many scientists and philosophers view mathematics as the foundation of the universe. According to the James Jean, a physicist, God was a mathematician. This concept was taken further by the quantum mechanics inventor, Paul Dirac, that God was the pure mathematician. After that, Edward Fredkin information and mathematics has made up the universe. According to the views of Tegmark, everything that exists is composed of mathematics and nothing else. According to his theory, there are numerous universes that have inhabited multiple time and space levels (Oliver, 2002). These theorists and scientist strongly believe in the fact that mathematics is the most central part of the universe. They believe that there is geometry in every aspect of the universe.

The Pythagorean Theory of Color and Music

The universe is a palette of sounds, tastes and smells, light and color. From birth we are immersed in the reality, full of different feelings. Most of the information transmitted from the external world is through our eyes and ears, we need to see what the world looks like and need to hear how it sounds. No wonder that sound and color are key components of the masterpieces of world art like music and painting. Many great thinkers and philosophers recognize harmony as the state of prerequisite beauty (Stierlin, ...
