Asian culture is undoubtedly one of the most important in world history. Its history, tradition and wealth have fascinated people from all over the world, making it clear that the West still has much to learn. No single homogeneous culture throughout the Asian continent, rather what is given is a diversity of cultures, which have some similar features, it is true, but they also show great differences. This also happens in every country where we can find large differences between the customs and traditions of either side thereof. The culture of Asia is basically known for its language, cuisine, their religions, their tribes and their festivals. The most important cultures of Asia are the Chinese, the Japanese and India. The cultures and traditions in Asia are an almost inexhaustible source of wealth that modern man is just beginning to learn. Whether China or India, or Sri Lanka or Burma, all Asian countries offer a rich culture that to this day remains quite hidden on this side of the world (Rhoads, 2006).

Asian art, cuisine and music, and literature are significant elements of the Asian culture. Eastern religion and philosophy moreover play a main role, with Taoism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Christianity; all playing key roles. The association among traditional cultures with the West is considered as one of the most complicated parts of the Asian culture (Thakur, 1986).
