Introduction

I have an opportunity to spend two weeks' vacation within Australia. For this purpose, I shall select three of the Australian cities to plan my two weeks' vacation. I shall be discussing the purchasing of flights, my accommodation schedule, where will I be eating and what will I be doing with my time. Hence, this assignment is going to provide the holiday research in the best categorized way so that the information can be used appropriately, when desired. According to my research, this two week journey, within Australia provides opportunities to relax and revive and ensures that I return home with enduring memories of beautiful sights and stunning moments.

Things to Pack

Thinking of holidays boost up my energy level and this two week holiday planning research requires a lot of things to consider. First of all, I need to select and pack appropriate clothes for the beach, dinner and casual tour of the city to look stylish and versatile during my trip to Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. While packing for a holiday, I have to keep in mind that this is just a two-week holiday so I have to be really selective in packing clothes. Therefore, from a huge list of clothes, I managed to cut down to the following important clothes:

Two swimsuits, one of them is reversible.

A pair of shorts

Three evening wear dresses, there may be an event at the hotel

For shopping and city sightseeing, lightweight jackets and trousers will work.

Accessories help to create value of your outfits but do not carry something too valuable.

5-6 vests/ T-shirts

2 Cardigans for cooler evenings

Mules for day

Flip flops for the beach

Beach bag

Day bag (worn across the body)

Planning for Days One to Four- Melbourne

I shall start my two weeks tour from Melbourne. Melbourne is the second largest city of Australia and is the capital of Australian State Victoria. Melbourne is the combination of old and New. The Airfare from Alice Springs to Melbourne will be starting from $303 by Flight Centre. Melbourne is located on the banks of River Yarra (Melbourne Tourism Authority, 1979, pp. 26-79). Melbourne is a fashionable and trend-setter city having Federation Square- a public space with cafes, art galleries, place for events and entertainments. Federation Square connects the city with Yarra River. The sights that I have planned to visit in Melbourne and its surroundings are:

1.Eureka Tower- to have memorable views from The Edge of Eureka Tower

2.Coffee at one of the many cafes around Yarra River

3.To explore Melbourne's night life through spending a night visiting bars and clubs

4.The Nobes Centre- to watch Austrailian fur seals

I shall be staying for three nights in Melbourne at Citigate Melbourne, a hotel located at the opposite of Yarra River and has theatres, shops, Federation Square and many more Melbourne's attractions at walking distance.
