Introduction

Ethics is the view of the impartial spectator. It is a universal vision that forces us to go beyond the subjective, beyond our own desires and preferences of an objective viewpoint. When we make ethical judgments, we must accept that our interests have no more than interests of anyone else. From this concept we can derive the concept of equal consideration of interests. The principle of equal consideration among humans and non-humans is common among all ethical theories.

Human Rights and Climate Change

We know there will be more natural disasters in the future. But not always involve horrific headlines and images of hurricanes and tsunamis. More common, which will be cumulative and unspectacular? People who are already vulnerable disproportionately affected. Slowly and gradually, the land will become too dry for farming, crops wither, rising sea levels will undermine coastal homes and loot freshwater, species will disappear, and the means of life vanish. Occasional disasters exacerbate these trends. Mass migration and the resulting conflicts. Only little by little these terrible consequences reach lifestyles and whose activities are most to blame.
