The Role of Individual Differences and Social Dynamics in Job Satisfaction

The Role of Individual Differences and Social Dynamics in Job Satisfaction

Description

For the study, the data of 202 people is taken in which the key factors are demographics, that include age and gender, job satisfaction, workplace social support and neuroticism. These factors are selected because these factors will provide results regarding the role of social dynamics and the individual differences on the job satisfaction. As, from an employee perspective, it is an important phenomena to study on which will help in minimizing the negative impacts of social factors and individual differences on the job satisfaction.

Hypothesis 1

To test the theoretical model that people who score higher on trait Neuroticism score lower on perceived support.

Dependent = perceived support

Independent = Neuroticism

The above charts are showing that the significant value of ANOVA table is greater than 0.05 that is 0.500 and the value of the R is 0.048 and the value of R-square is 0.002 or the 0.2 % that means there is a relationship between the dependent variable that is the perceived support and the independent variable that is neuroticism.

Hypothesis 2

If perceived support and Neuroticism can be discriminated as separate constructs, we predicted that both Neuroticism and perceived support would be independently associated with job satisfaction.

Dependent = job satisfaction

Independent = Neuroticism

Independent = perceived support
