Reference to the scenario Jim feels powerless and already is the victim before anything even happens. Fear seems to be the motivating factor in focused hatred. Stereotypes work upon the assumption that all people can be categorized. Often times they are born out of fear rather than fact. They tend to leave everyone involved a victim.
