Introduction

Specific phobias are among the most common diseases concerns life due to the prevalence of about 10%. Specific phobia is characterized as a "marked and persistent fear that is excessive and unreasonable, cued by the presence or waiting for a specific object or situation (American Psychiatric Association, 1994). Classic fear conditioning is supposed to be an important mechanism in the pathogenesis of specific phobias.
