Discussion

Well, my parents own a land clearing construction for home builders successfully for about 14 years. I was attracted towards my father business since childhood, and thus I joined him and now I am part of his work for 1 year. Purpose

The purpose of land clearing contractor is to provide the sheer surface for builders to proceed with their works. The large areas and large plots are needed to be served by them to get rid of the waste plants, dig holes where needed and to be provided with an ample space to work on.

Services We Offer

There is a variety of services we offer, almost every which comes under our domain. Trees cutting, soil evaluation and testing, leveling the surface, grading, debris removal and hauling (Songy, 2008).

Soil Testing

One of our services is to test the soil. The soil is tested in the laboratory to check if it is appropriate for the construction, or some chemical has to be used. This is a crucial step, and if it is missed out, it is going to create a problem for residence in the future (Sweeney, 2010). Once the soil and the surface, both are verified by the laboratory, the work can be preceded. Another area of testing is to evaluate the land. The land evaluation is done to find out whether it is safe to construct the building over it. It tells us how much load this particular area can easily bear. This is done to minimize any mishap which may occur in the future.
