Live Theatrical Performance

This paper has been written with regards to the live theatrical performance that I saw at a theater. The performance that I saw was titled, “Aladdin.” Since I am very much interested to watch the performance, moreover, also since I like to watch performances on such themes, I really enjoyed the entire performance. However, there were also some aspects of the performance that did not please me. When the performance started, there were many advertisements that were shown in order to warm up the crowd, however, it started on time, as it was announced by the event management company. Moreover, another thing that displeased me was that the theatre showed the performance in chunks as it was divided and advertisements were shown in the middle, which was extremely irritating. I did not want to watch any advertisements between the performances because it lessens the excitement to watch the rest of the performance. Therefore, I regarded this as something extremely unpleasing. Besides this, another thing that I did not appreciate was the volume of the performance. This is because when I was watching the performance, the volume had to be increased, however, for the advertisements the management had to lower down the volume, which was also irritating. It was because of this that caused disturbance in the theater and everyone else was also feeling bad about it.

Since the time when I was young, I had heard the story of Aladdin from my elders and had also read it myself in the story books. Therefore, I was aware of the main characters of the performance who were Aladdin himself, his wife Jasmine, Sultan and the magician.
