With regard to the present scenario, it is clear that the accounting system lacks a a timely follow-up from the various people working in the accounts dept. It has been reviewed in the case study that Anne Milner (Finance Director) Premier Office Supplies Ltd lacked control of the department. Although an over staffed department with job details provided to all employees their was a general failure of checking and administering the system as a whole. People of the accounting department were quyite disintegrated, besides the fact organisational issues were regarded as being very critical but their was less implementation on people doing the job. Due to this situation the accountinmg department was unable to fully synchronize with other departments of Premier office supplies Ltd. Some inductions in the accounting department needed more attention like Sarah Moore Payroll and Personnel Database Clerk and Celina Khan required the attention of Anne Milner (Finance Director) In all, the problems kept on growing within the department and Anne Milner's reponsibility to take control of the staff was not managed properly making people unable to complete their tasks on time. We can see that other departments also suffered due to the inefficiency of the accounts department as the processes could not be completed like they should have. Once control from the dept. head started lacking all other problems grew by the dozen making the accounts department slack and slow and lost in touch with the organizations other departments which were otherwise doing well the overall effect for the entire organization started worsening.

The case analysis also determine the vulnerability of computerised accounting information system to computer crime and the solutions to prevent such crime from occurring in POS.

Managing accounting information quality is a difficult yet possible task, as there are many issues that may have an impact on it. This paper attempts to categorize those issues using a simple model with the intention of enhancing the understanding of accounting information quality management. The case study analysis provides illustrations of real-world reactions to those key issues, thus providing organisations with an awareness of the different dimensions and desired aspects of information quality.

This research report is based on the case study of Premier Office Supplies Limited (POS). It explains how employees & systems are managed in the finance department of POS.
