A life Span Perspective on Women's Career, heath and well being

Introduction

This article wrote by three authors who are concern with the psychology department. These authors are Gunn Johansson, Petra Lindfors and Qinghai Huang. Gun Johansson researches are concerns with the long term impact of experience with work in terms of well being and health. He did his doctoral studies and started teach students of psychology in universities. Petra Lindfors was PhD associate professor, and her research areas are psychobiology health, well-being, stress in and children, adolescents, and adults. She did her PhD in 2002 in Psychology from Stockholm University, and thesis was a part of her project. She worked as a researcher at different psychological department at University of Stockholm and Centre for Health Equity Studies (CHESS) University of Stockholm / Institute of Karolinska. Recently, she is teaching to the undergraduate and master's levels students on topics regarding the work, stress and health. 2009 she has been a post research fellow at the Psychology Department at Stockholm University. Qinghai Huang No information found regarding him. These authors are highly concern with the examination of the association among health, stress and well-being in women.

Discussion

The objective of this article is to examine and investigate regarding the min life health and well being which influenced by the customs or behaviors within the individuals that related to the occupational, educational and family involvement all the way through their responsible lives. This article reflects the variety of psychological theories. Stress theory been discussed, and relate to the well being of women and the stress they face when they pass through the adult phase especially after their marriage life. However, career theories and model been discussed in the article regarding the working condition on male and female which were inappropriate with the women career analysis. Traditional theories of gender and multiple roles have posited that multiple roles will lead to role conflicts and stress reactions. Along with traditional theories of gender and multiple roles, this study discovering career mobility role in men and women. Moreover, Role strain model Role-strain models hypothesize so as to the numerous responsibilities or jobs seized by person struggle regarding resources for instance energy, time, and involvement of psychology, consequently generate strain (Qinghai, 2007).
