Topic Statement

Business organizations around the globe are working together to relate strategically with their environments. The organizations comes in all shapes and sizes, which forms a central features of human`s everyday lives. Environments shape organizations. In turn, organizations also shape the environments in which they interact. Many organizations around the world are surprised by the changes in their external environments.

The purpose of selecting Organizational environments as research topic is to analyze and evaluate the organizational environment, which creates the forces that can impact their internal and external environments. These forces are made up of opportunities and threats, as the organizations are the integral part of overall environment (Everson, 2003). The research will develop a frame work for assessing the organization and their environments, and how those organizations respond to their environments. The research will initially identify the organization structure and domain, which influence the behavior of an organization. Secondly, the research will explore the two major environmental forces on the organization, which includes the need for resources and the need for information. Several organizations are faced with these forces, which are responded by organizations in form of structural designs, planning systems, and attempt for controlling and changing the elements in the society.

Organizations are the open systems and they must be related to their environments. They must acquire and implement best possible resources and information for the better and efficient functioning of the organization. Therefore, they must deliver the extraordinary ranges of products and services to their valued customers. On the other side of that organization must have solid strategy by which they can effectively manage their resources and information, and delivers the desired outcome to their environment (Aldrich, 1979). Thus, the organizational strategy should devise the number of responses for managing environmental interfaces, from internal responses of administration, such as the creation of special units to environmental scanning, to external collective responses, which include formation of strategic alliances with other organizations. This research will analyze and discuss the questions related to organizations and their environments, and they can be internal or external. It will also discuss that how they are strategically related to each other. As many organizations functions, survival and prosperity is mainly dependent on the environments where they are based.

Background

In the field of research for organizational environments, there are two different anchors, which include the organization and the natural environments.
