This article tells the significance of psychological treatment along with the use of drugs in antidepressant treatment. Therefore two practices were made. One was the combined treatment, i.e. the psychological treatment and the use of drugs. Second way practiced was the use of drugs only. Two reviewers decided the result of the clinical trials. In total there were sixteen trials conducted, 932 patients attended the pharmacotherapy alone and 910 attended the combined treatment.
