Biography

Raymond Walter Kelly (born September 4, 1941) is the current Commissioner of the New York City policeman Department (NYPD) and the first individual to hold the mail for two nonconsecutive tenures. Kelly has spent 31 years in the NYPD, assisting in 25 distinct instructions and as Police Commissioner from 1992-1994 and 2002-present. During his tenure with the NYPD, Kelly held most of the department's ranks, except for the Three celebrity Bureau Chief, head of Department, or Deputy Commissioner. He was encouraged directly from Two celebrity head to First Deputy Commissioner in 1990.
