In this part, it analyzed that the subject Mrs M is an old lady, aged 100, and has problems of short term memory loss. Due to this, it became necessary for me to inform someone of her relatives about the incident. In order to inform some one of her family about the incident, so that a little treatment and care could be provided to her if she showed some signs of injury later, I had informed her daughter about the incident that took place in the bathroom. Mrs M had fallen in the bath tub. She did not have any severe injury but had a slight bruise. Once I was sure she was alright, in accordance to the Health and Safety Act 1974, I went to fill out the Accident Form - the incident also recorded in her Day Report Book, the Night Staff Book and the Matron's Communication book. All of these documents kept in accordance to The Data Protection Act 1988, which locked away in the matron's intramural office away from a public domain. However, these documents, in accordance to the Access To Care taking Reports Act 1988, and Access to Health Records Act 1990 are accessible by the resident should she wish to see them. The incident also reported at the handover sessions, and the care takers asked to keep an eye on Mrs M's back, sides and arms which over the next few days showed a very small bruises which treated with Arnica. In basic words, it can be said that after looking at the condition of Mrs. M also analyzing the condition of the bruise, all possible actions taken, in order to make sure that the lady given proper care and treatment later, to make sure that she had not suffered any severe injury, also to make sure that she did not have to suffer (Gorsky, Martin, 2008).

All these activities carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety Act 1974. Accident forms also filled; details of the incident also recorded in the Day Report Book, the Night Staff Book and in the Matron's Communication book. These books filled in with the details of the incident to make sure that those care takers that were not present at the time the incident took place, and will be arriving are later, through reading the details in these books will then be aware of the incident that took place. Therefore, in the end it can be said that all the activities done performed in this case carried out properly and in accordance with the Health and Safety Act 1974. Furthermore, as the incident proved that the bathrooms were also quite narrow, therefore, another step also decided to be taken. A Risk Assessment of certain bathrooms and any other restricted areas was going to be carried out in the home, to avoid this type of accident ...
