The goals and growth of the person helps him to become more conscious and aware about his future while strengthening the motivation and confidence of achieving those goals. I too have a goal to learn and gain more knowledge, which is why I have enrolled in the doctoral program. As per my doctoral education requirement, I had to do a residency to gain experience which will help me in further development. The residency has helped me in gaining practical work and has helped me to understand practically the theoretical work. As I practically experienced all that I have learned in the theory, my interest further developed in this field. Learning theoretically and practically doing that work has a lot of difference, a person, actually, learns more by the practical work. I learned a lot from the residency as they made us do different aspects of the theoretical work to do practically. I got more interested in this field and more interested in the theory as I know I will be doing all this practically soon.

This experience has made me realize that pursuing a doctoral education is very important in one's life. When you start a doctoral education, you enter a more professional world in which you are able to learn much more advanced information, which comes with, a lot of responsibility. As you have to apply practically that knowledge, a doctoral student has to be attentive and should be able to perform the task in a proper manner. As you take this knowledge further and apply it in your career or teach that knowledge to others, as well. This is why a doctoral student has to be responsible in whatever he applies what he learns or teaches it to others.
