Introduction

Police forces are considered as the most trust worthy elements that exists in any society. People look at them with the trust and belief that police forces will protect them. Studies show that many people argue about the role of police in developing and promoting culture. The following essay is going to analyze the role of police in the development and the promotion of culture in any society and will debate over whether is it successfully performing its role or is it just a part of the failed political experimentation in multiculturalism.

According to the sociology, the specificity of police work would have created a particular work culture. The police profession is characterized by the combination of three elements: the exposure to danger, the report of the public authority and concern for efficiency. Hence a number of common traits, shared in varying degrees by all members of the police, such as their suspicious character, their sense of being misunderstood by the public, their sense of isolation, offset by a strong internal solidarity, their conservatism, etc. More detailed analyzes were able to introduce some distinctions between the base and coaching, but they have not altered the overall pattern. The effectiveness of the development and manifestation of culture by police is in close connection with political, economic, social and general situation in the country. In this regard, it should be noted that during the 1990s there was a complicated process, there was intense erosion of public opinion and attitudes toward law and order, moral and legal principles, and a substantial number of citizens, including several police officers, were not able to act in strict accordance with the laws, rules of law and morality.

Since the beginning of the 21st century leadership of the government takes decisive action to strengthen the rule of law, restore order in all spheres of society. In implementing these measures an important role is played by bodies of internal affairs.
