The Rooms Division comprises of two departments, namely the Front Office and Housekeeping. Previously, housekeeping was taken as a merely a department of cleaning, but the recent surveys of hotels has illustrated time and again that it is cleanliness which is at the top of the list of priorities when it comes to the requirements and expectations of guests who come to hotels (O'Fallon & Rutherford, 2010, pp. 54).
