Introduction

The main purpose of the project is to develop a report consisting of market evaluation and strategic planning for a company intending to enter a new overseas market. Based on the idea of choosing a UAE organization, for this project, ASHLEY LLC Dubai is selected. The overseas country to launch the product is Hungary. The discussion includes Background of the Company, analysis of the chosen country for evaluating the opportunities, industrial analysis and market entry strategy for the company in the chosen country. Finally, conclusion summarizes the discussion.

The company, which is being selected, is ASLEY LLC. Founded in 1998, ASLEY is a Dubai based firm which provides IT products. Since its inception, the company has gained enormous growth in the industry. ASHLEY's main product line includes;

COUNTRY ANALYSIS/EVALUATION AND OPPORTUNITIES

After a thorough research, I have decided to do strategic planning for the expanding ASLEY's operations in Hungary because there is a lot of market opportunity for IT products, which can be understood by the following details.

Environmental Analysis

Analysis on primary demand for the relevant market divulges that there is greater influence of end-user on making purchase decisions (Kotler & Keller, p.128). Analysis from a study has revealed that there is a lot of demand for IT products in Hungary. Only Computer's sale in Hungary was estimated at around US$1.3bn in 2011, with notebooks accounting for more than half of sales. ASHLEY deals in the components of both of these products.

Population

The total population of Hungary is 10.1 million of which 69.3% (male 3,384,961/female 3,475,135) lie between the ages of 15 to 64 with a literacy rate of 99.4 percent. If we compare it with any other European country, Hungary has the highest literacy rate.
