A strategic plan is a crucial element of any business. It contains all the description as to how should we achieve the vision of the business. Planning plays an important role in business plans as approximately 80% of new businesses fail are mostly due to a lack of planning and the process planning, which is very necessary for the smooth flow of business. It is important for the plan that it should include all the skills to examine and clearly understand the issues (LOTZ, 1992).

For any organization strategies and objectives play an important role in accessing the organization. The sports style restaurant strategy for planning is concerned so we analyze it according to the strategies and objectives which are to be achieved (LOTZ, 1992).

The Action Plan

As part of managing for results, strategic plan often translates into an annual action plan. Some organizations produce a single document covering all the activities; others produce one for each sector.

It is in the action plan that specified the preferred means to achieve results, so it is a tool for implementing the commitments made in the strategic plan. Since departments and agencies are not accountable to the means used to achieve results, the plan of action is generally an internal document.

The action plan is developed to obtain the operational objectives and to identify ways of action to achieve results on an annual basis. It specifies the responsibilities assigned to various units, so that each can learn about the various contributions expected. Additionally, the plan empowers the entire organization facing the implementation and achievement of strategic objectives (MATTESSICH, 1961).

The aims of the Action Plan:

• To encourage and support employee participation in the strategic plan through a better understanding of the results between strategy and operations; (MATTESSICH, 1961).

• Identify the contribution of all sectors;

• Promote an integrated vision of interventions based on guidelines adopted;

• Facilitate monitoring of the implementation of annual strategic plan;

• Targeting of resources and allocate resources to achieve the objectives;

• Monitor the achievement of results for accountability.

Instrument for implementing the strategic plan, the plan may also include:

• Current activities of the organization;

• The schedule for each activity;

• Resources (human, physical, fiscal and informational);

• sharing responsibilities.
