The Fast Food Industry is growing at a rapid pace throughout the world. It no longer remains a household affair where a mom used to cook for her children and husband in whatever ways possible. The industry has grown manifolds and has become one of the chief industrial and business segments of the world. The industry of Fast Food earns annual revenues of more than a trillion dollars and has been the focus of economic activities throughout the globe. While the importance of Fast Food hygienic preparation and consumption has gained substantial importance in recent times, different production and service systems relating to the same industry has been devised to incorporate health food production and distribution practices that can result in nutrition and health of every consumer. Furthermore, there are government interventions in the United States to assess the health related issues that people face due to fast food consumption. Whether it is the genetic and bio tech companies, chemical and pesticide firms, restaurants, hotels, inns, or even restaurants like McDonalds, Big-Mac and others, each industry and business segment has to implement certain measures related to health and safety issues (Teresa, 2003, 506-522).

There is a strong need that the legal system of the United States should hold fast-food companies responsible for consumers resulted health woes, the reason is that it is extremely difficult to have a healthy food at fast-food restaurants. Inclusion of fat, sugar, calories and elimination of nutritious, make the fast food dangerous for people's health. These results in issues such as gaining weight, blood pressure issues and in some cases diabetes, as well. However, there are regulations imposed by the legal system in the United States and there are restaurants such as McDonalds, which implements proper health and safety measures to ensure prevention of health woes.

In the United States, people are increasingly suffering from health related woes due to the consumption of fast food. The statement is true that the legal system of the United States should hold fast-food and junk food companies responsible for people's health related woes. The reason is that, health related woes that occur due to the consumption of fast food create a variety of concerns for the government. These concerns include, cost of medications, requirements for physical fitness and so on (Nicole, 2004, p.273).
