The inner makings of a TV Show

Small ville is a series of science fiction, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar , who says the youth of the future Superman and is broadcast from 16 October 2001 on The WB and then on The CW.(Cam, Joseph, Roberta, P.114-110)

Synopsis

It all began in October 1989, in Small ville in Kansas. A shower of meteorites fell on the town, sowing death and destruction in its path. The young Lana Lang sees his parents die, while the little bald Lex Luthor becomes.

But this disaster arise a miracle: a child of three years that is collected by the Kents. Twelve years pass, and Clark Kent (Tom Welling) is now a teenager like no other because it has amazing powers. He lives on a farm with her ??adoptive parents, loves being with his friends Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack) and Pete Ross (Sam Jones III), not forgetting the beautiful Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) he loves forever. It will also make friends with Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) after having saved him from certain death. (Cam Joseph Roberta P.05-09)

Production

Although in mythology Superman, the town of Small ville is in the middle of the State of Kansas to the United States, production of the series is done about it (for budgetary reasons in particular) in Canada at Vancouver and its surroundings in British Columbia.

Most of the series is touring the BB Studios in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver. This is where the four main focus areas for action, namely inside the Luthor mansion, the interiors of the Kent Farm, Small ville High School and finally the office of the torch. To mitigate the effect of studio, some special effects are used, such as a fake starry sky for a scene inside the barn Clark.
