Introduction

Businesses would appear to be uninteresting if they do not have mission and vision. Vision Statements and Mission Statements can be power packed forces in a business background when they are conducted correctly, and when they are employed to liberate the persuasive force in the people who forming that corporation. The most excellent missions and visions turn out to be mantras for achievement; they are channels which gives direction to a company (Domm, 2001).

Difference between Vision and Mission

A Vision Statement delineates the most favorable preferred future situation - the rational depiction - of what an association desires to attain with the passage of time. It gives direction and encouragement as to what an association is stressed on attaining in five, ten, or more years. Clearly recognized mental picture (vision) motivates employees to stress on what is significant and better recognize organizational-wide modification and arrangement of assets.

On the other hand, Mission statements delineate the current state or function of a business. It responds to three concerns in relation to why associations exist: what it carries out; who it does it for; and how it does. It is inscribed concisely in the type of a sentence or two, but for a short timeframe (one to three years) as compare with a vision account; and it is something that all staff should be capable to communicative upon request (Schwartz, 2001).
