The time has changed a lot and with the time there are various other factors which have been altered but there are some things which are bound to remain the same. Many experts tend to believe that women in the work place are bound to act in a certain manner due to the male dominated environment. If we turn the pages of the history women have always been subjected to difficulty in the workplace. The workplace which we tend to experience today is designed to suit the needs of the male dominated society. The workplace today tends to treat the human beings like machines where growth and profit maximization is the only gauge or the factor which is considered. The workplace law today does not address the needs of the women.
Who have a responsibility attached to her to look after her home, her children, and on the same time is working to improve the economic picture or the status of her family (Raymond, 2003. However, at the end of the day it is women to tend to suffer both emotionally and physically. Factors Affecting Women Flexibility
The environment which the workplace of today depicts tends to lack the adjustment factor for its employees. This in the context of this paper tends to act as a social and structural issue for the women. The fact that the organization of the present world fails to adapt the flexible working methods tends to effect the growth of the women within the workplace. Plus it also affects her outside the workplace. Since in our society it is the women to tend to shape up a home and it is the women around whom the family operates. Thus, when the woman is not given leverage in the work place because special dispensations cannot be made to any one this is where the women tend to suffer both professionally and emotionally. As a result it is not the women who tends to suffer because of this but the whole family tends to suffer and that is where the family units tends to detached itself to each other. Thus, the institution of the family is cut to size and its potential to change the society for better reduces to a much lower level (Mazzullo, 2004).
Other than that there are various other barricades which tend to effects the women's flexibility in the work place.
