Introduction

We have noticed that women have not been given importance in any field, especially in the workforce. The “the past” of America has shown that, there was no key role of women in any qualified competencies and, this was because women had not given suitable chances to prove their leaderships. Women for all time, played a inferior role in the society of America and, had no supremacy in the society. The only responsibility found for women in the history, was to up raise the offspring and cook for husband. Women sought to position on their own feet and, their requirements had prepared them to acquire decisions to stick together men in the work force. From side to side that day of joining workforce with men, women are still trying to take sovereign steps and, prove their management skills but, in numerous cases, they are not esteemed from top executives because of more than a few reasons.

Discussion

Kathleen Christensen believed that, the troubles, which were existing in the past with women, is still survive today because, no one is giving awareness to decide these issues. Because of these issues, families are not supporting their female children in order to get proper early education and, in rural areas, most of the females stay behind illiterate. When any female get a chance to join a workforce with men, then she has to face certain challenges in the workforce (A.S.et. a, 2002). American parents have been trying to meet the demands of their family and children.

According to Kathleen Christensen, we don't necessitate further studies to know the troubles of women in the societal and organization aspects because, we have experimental issues from our daily life experience (A.S.et. a, 2002). Everybody thinks that, this is not his dilemma and, do not want to answer the crisis. All individuals are looking for problems as the personal problems and, trying to solve each problem by himself. In case, if any being try to solve any problem then, in the end he or she feels wear out because, any entity can't fight alone and, there should be a mutual effort. Workplace flexibility can bring the large change by giving control over when and where works get done (A.S.et. a, 2002).

There may be four barriers in this regard and, these barriers should be removed step by step. The first major barrier is “it's me” because, individuals think that, they are having private problems and, this is their own headache. If there may be an addition of several thousand private problems then, it will combined to become a single issues and, voices may be raised in order to solve these issues. Workplace flexibility is becoming a serious issue in the major organizations. Large organizations are trying to provide workplace flexibility to women but, this issue remains unsolved. Considering these issues on social and demographic changes, organizations have to work more on the issue of workforce flexibility.
