Proposal

For this research paper, we are choosing the 2nd scenario, related to workplace diversity and racial discrimination accusations. The reason for selecting this topic scenario is that managing workplace diversity and handling racial discrimination issues is a very important emerging issue these days.

We are going to find out if there are clues of structural or individual prejudice involved or discriminatory attitudes. If the company is right or not, to expect its workers who communicate directly with customers to speak in unaccented English?

We also intend to present certain guidelines that help avoiding this sort of problem to happen. Managing workplace diversity is becoming an alarming issue for businesses across the globe. We expect this paper to be useful in finding out solutions to problems regarding racial equality and handling complexities related to workplace diversity.

The company implies that Maria is a good employee but is aggressive in her opinions about her co-workers and supervisors and has had some troubles with her attendance and tardiness.

Discussion and Analysis:

If we carefully examine the situation, Maria have all the reasons to claim being treated unfairly as she is a Latino, who is colored and the only woman in her department. Her experience with the company is visibly more than the person who got the promotion instead of Maria.

On the other hand, if we look from the company's perspective they also seem a bit blameless as they point of that ...
