Affects of Pollution and Development on Earth

Introduction

The planet Earth has managed to maintain its beauty and resources. Accommodating millions and millions of inhabitants, the planet still has plenty to offer. However, humans have failed to take care of the planet. The two world wars and various other clashes and conflicts from time to time do not just take away the many lives but it also leaves their mark on various physical aspects as well. The ruins left by all these wars can still be seen in various geographical locations. However, another alarming aspect is human's current activities that are severely affecting the planet. One of the consequences of a number of careless and irresponsible human behaviors is Pollution. Although, various organizations in many countries are trying to control the menace. However, the threat of serious consequences caused by Pollution still exists for the planet.

Problem Statement

Pollution remains one of the most troubling problems and threat the planet currently faces. Irrespective of various awareness programs introduced for public awareness on this matter throughout and a number of organizations on local and international level doing their best to control the problem, the consequences of Pollution continue to appear one after another. Therefore, not just humans, but all the other species who shares the planet continues to suffer. Moreover, a number of other trends, most prominently the love for huge buildings and infrastructures are partially to be blamed for this problem. At last, the increasing population is another factor that contributes towards pollution and its consequences.

Defining Pollution

A simple phenomenon that involves the introduction of impurities and containments in to clean and pure natural atmosphere as a result affecting its purity is known as Pollution. There are a number of classes that corruption can be classified in to. These include water pollution, air pollution, land pollution and noise pollution. Unfortunately, Earth is currently facing the effects of every form and nature of pollution which is of course a very alarming sign for the healthy survival for both the planet and its inhabitants. Therefore, I believe that necessary steps should be immediately taken at least control the damage if not totally undo it.
