Introduction

Art is a unique form of science where the beauty lies in the eye of the viewer. Artists are not restricted to the domain of painting only but various forks are considered as a form of arts. The forms of arts include sculpture designing, architects, painters, interior designers, graphic designers and even the cooks who cook and present food are artists in their own domain. It is very difficult to measure the quality of an artistic product. The basis of the field of the art relates itself to painting and anything related to drawing which is presented in front of viewers.

Many artists such as Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci and Claude Monet have produced master pieces. The quality of their work is difficult to assess as it depends upon the appreciation of the viewers but still few guide lines have been defined to praise the work of the artists. One of the finest criteria to rate the work of the artist is to perform a visual analysis of the work. The visual analysis includes elements of lines, shapes, space light, color and texture. The combination of these various attributes defines the quality of work. Other than that the art principles in account are balance, emphasis and rhythm. The third important criteria is of the media technique employed which includes sub categories of drawing, print making, sculpture and architecture.

Discussion

It is very easy to portray the replica of nature in painting but defining it in such a manner that it seems prettier than the actual scenery is not an art posse by all painters. Claude Monet a French painter is considered as the master of capturing nature in his paintings with such beauty that it not only retains the beauty of true nature but impersonates the distinguished attributes of the painter as well (Wood, 2013).  Claude Monet has painted many master pieces reflecting the true beauty of nature but the painting under discussion in this paper is the Valle Buona which is near the Brodighera. It is one of the finest paintings of Claude Monet and a deep analysis on this painting is conducted.
