Explain Purpose

Bereavement support programs are designed for the people who have been suffering from the grief of their loved ones illness. These groups encourage people to share the concern regarding the diseases of the affected person and how they can be helpful in the difficult time. Grief is characterized by one of the most painful experiences experienced by human, in which there is the occurrence of a set of feelings that need time to be understood and solved. It is a period of psychosocial transition that reaches both interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships, reflected in the way person experiences the world and the relationship with the social environment (Feigelman et al, 2008). Grief always occurs after the loss of something considered important, as objects, employment or members of the body, but especially after the death of someone. The degree of suffering and pain corresponds to the emotional ties that people closer have with each other, binding of the models acquired and culture.
