Introduction

The purpose of this paper is to explore the impacts of organizational behaviours on the business operations. In addition to this, current study also aims to demonstrate the impacts of leadership theories as well as the impacts of theories of motivation on the performance of the employees. The proceeding paper incorporates the answers of the given tasks. These tasks may greatly help the reader in understanding various organizational and leadership theories as well as the theories of motivation.

LO1- Understanding the Relationship between Organisational Structure and Culture

Organizational Culture

Organizational culture is referred as the attitudes or behaviours of the individuals who are attached with the organization. It is observed that, organizational culture incorporates various features including habits, beliefs, symbols, systems, working language, norms, visions and values of an organization. Furthermore, it can also be said that, it is the model of such combined assumptions and behaviours that are taught to the new members of an organization in a perceive manner. It is observed that, the organizational culture influences the way groups and people interact with each other, with stakeholders and with the clients (Debackere & Veugelers, 2005, pp. 321-330).

Organizational Structure

Organizational structure is referred as the hierarchical arrangements of various duties, rights, communications and authorities of an organization. Researches and studies demonstrate that, the organizational structure recognizes that how the responsibilities, power and roles are coordinated, controlled and assigned and how the organizational information revolves among divergent management levels. It is also observed that, the organizational structure of any business directly depends on the strategies and objectives of the business (Rahim, 2011, pp. 36-38).

Differences between Organizational Culture and Organizational Structure

Organizational culture and structure have direct relationship with each other. Organizational structure is referred as the way the organization organizes its lines of authorities and management. Therefore, it determines all the management operations of an organization. On the other hand, it is observed that, organizational culture determines the norms, values and behaviours of any organization. It is observed that, both of these aspects have great impacts on the performance as well as on the integrity of an organization (Sosik & Godshalk, 2000, pp. 365-390).

How the Relationship between Organizational's Structure and Culture can Influence the Performance of the Business?

Researches and studies demonstrate that, the combination of organizational structure and culture may greatly influence the performance of any organization. It is because of the reason that, appropriate and effective culture of an organization may enable the employees to perform with intense motivation and enthusiasm. In addition to this, it is also observed that, the diversified and productive culture of an organization may also help the organizations or businesses to get their desired and pre defined goals and objectives.
