Introduction

Capitalism: A love story observes the affect of the corporate dominance over the routine lives of the average American people, which then affect the rest of the world. The film tends to move from the Mid of United States to Washington's hall of power. The basic concept of film revolves around the cost of Capitalism that is paid by the average Americans. The working class families mainly feel the burden of it by paying with their savings, their homes as well as their lives. The Director/ Writer Michael Moore visits the homes of these normal people who have suffered the consequences of Capitalism in America. In an attempt to get the some answers, Moore visits the financial global capital, which is considered to be Washington D. C. However, upon reviewing the whole picture Moore realized that Capitalism was nothing more than a love story, filled with betrayal, lies, abuse, etc.

Moore highlights the start of history and the development of greed during that time. He further portrays the post world war 2 periods when President Franklin held the office and the 2nd Bill of Rights. In addition to that, Moore reviews the system of Capitalism and how it is being applied in to the United States. The system was supposed to be providing the goods and services which were the most in demand by the consumers. But Moore states that the system is present to only make the rich richer and on the other hand poor and the middle class becomes poorer and the conditions worsen. In addition to that, Moore highlights that similar to the religious practices of the Christians in the past, the present practices includes worshipping the new religion which is considered to be the Wall Street Journal.

Egalitarianism

This is a concept which favors social equality between the average people. It highlights the fact that all the human beings are equal and possess equal economical, social, political as well as civil rights, regardless of their financial statuses. The opposite of this concept is known to be fatalism. Egalitarianism basically involves removing the economic inequalities amongst the people. This is also known as power decentralization. It has been highlighted by some of the theorists that the egalitarianism highlights the natural state of a human. There are numerous forms of egalitarianism including legal egalitarianism, economic egalitarianism, gender egalitarianism, political egalitarianism; asset based egalitarianism, racial egalitarianism as well as Christian egalitarianism. Economically, it could also refer to opportunity equality (Giddens, A. 2006).

This could be associated with different government practices. One of them includes the government not showing signs of discrimination amongst the citizens of that country or delays any opportunities which the citizens are liable to. The second notion reflects outcome inequality. This is the affairs of economics in which the promotion of equality is done by the government for all the citizens of the country.
