Reflection of a Real Life Experience Unfolding Leadership and Faith

During operations and performance in a medical/surgical as a new unit manager, several complaints were logged by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) that the registered Nurses (RNs) do not provide them with all the relevant information related to the patients admitted in the unit. The CNAs had the feeling that they are not treated like team members because of non-cooperative attitude from the RNs, they do not listen to their estimations, and most of the times the CNA's start the care delivery work without gathering complete information about the patient condition and in certain cases do not even make the final reports. This is due to lack of any formal way of communication between the CNAs and RNs as there should be a standard level of exchange between them. When time allows the time limit must be an hour or two in a shift. Another problem which RNs have from the CNAs is the lack of accountability as they do not place the respective RNS to obtain the report at the start of each shift. The RNs have the perception that CNAs lack accountability and initiative, and the other way round CNAs feel that they are being isolated which makes them stand out of the team working in the unit. Minimal admiration for each one in turn and above all else and absence of an adoring relationship around the representatives was clearly evident, which thus influenced consideration conveyed to the patients on the unit. There had been something done for the purpose of this issue, the unit has incredible potential, and it was accepted by the author that it was not by the occurrence that she was invested an authority position, though it was by perfect mediation. According to Maxwell (1993), he stated, “God's gift to me was my potential. My gift back to God is what I do with that potential” (p. 148). It was observed that the nurturing and auxiliary staffs were devoted and liked their jobs; though they failed in offering a direction, and responsibility.

Though the scholar felt sure to be the guide but working on the unit was testing. To serve the necessities of the representatives in understanding to guide's confidence feelings is the administration part ...
