Introduction

The principles and rules of coaching is the same no matter which field the person belongs to. Coaching in business is similar to the coaching in sports. In sports coaching, a coach pushes the performer to perform well and achieve high results among his competitors. He makes the sports person run more and do more exercise to prepare him well. However; on the other hand in business coaching although the coach does almost the similar thing that is in sports coaching but here the aim is to establish a successful business that results in good remuneration for the person being trained as well. A business coach role is to train the business owners and persons through leadership, training, support, accountability, responsibility and encouragement. A business coach provides assistance to the owners of small and medium enterprises with their sales and marketing techniques etc. Equally like a sports coach, the business coach will also motivate the person or employee to focus on the game.

Coaching in Business varies in a way that it is different for the ones who are in a stating up phase of establishing their businesses, different for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) and different for large businesses or corporations. If business persons / owners are interested in transformation, get creative ideas and learning then coaching is the best way for them. It is rightly said by Tom Landry, coach is the one who actually tells the person what he does not want to hear, what one can't see in his business and one can become what he had always thought of becoming (Parsloe, 1999).

Coaching and mentoring is a process that facilitates the individuals and executives to accomplish their full potential. It also enables learning and development to take place and improves the performance. A successful coach possesses knowledge, understanding, expertise and techniques that are suitable to the framework in which the coaching takes place.

Support a commitment to both action and growth of lasting personal development & alteration.

Maintenance of a positive relation and attitude with the client which means that the coach is supportive and nonjudgmental all the time in their views, lifestyle and aspirations.

Ensure that the clients build up personal capabilities and unhealthful habits on the coaching association do not rise.
