Introduction

Nursing is one of the most difficult careers for professionals when considered on the basis of its job description. Doctors and other medical staff members have a particular job task but the nurses have a pool of tasks under their job descriptions. The nurses lie under the ethical frames of medical responsibilities, at the same time they are expected to acquire state of the art skills to perform at their optimum level to help the doctors in recovering the patients.

Nurses are not only expected for these attributes but are also expected to have great management skills to manage the hospital procedures, they are expected to have perfect leadership skills to be able to control the team under their supervision and they are expected to have robust communication skills to convince their patients and other medical staff.

The following paper will provide a detailed account of my strengths and weaknesses as a nurse in four areas of expertise expected from a nurse.
