Coronary Heart Disease in Israel

Introduction

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is an infection in which a sticky substance known plaque blocks the coronary arteries. This infection interrupts the blood supply of heart due to waxy substance in the coronary arteries. Importantly, these arteries provide rich oxygen blood to the muscles of heart. By the time of this disease, the walls of the individual's arteries could clog with waxy deposits. This process is called as atherosclerosis and the deposit of waxy substance is known as atheroma. In Israel, it has been discovered that these individuals seems to have exhibit lifestyle factors and more diabetes that generally increase the risk for Coronary Heart Disease in Israeli people. Therefore, it has become one of the biggest concerns in this country. The primary prevention for this disease is greatly needed to this ethnic group. This paper is designed to define the critical condition of Coronary Heart Disease in Israel people, their risk factors, prevalence and the implications of this issue for the health of Israel population. Moreover, it will also discuss the research over this disease in the boundaries of Israel and worldwide.

Discussion

Health Issue of Coronary Heart Disease

As per the current published data of WHO in April 2011, deaths by CHD “Coronary Heart Disease” in Israel has arrived to 4,694 or 16.13% of total deaths. The age adjusted Death Rate is 46.43 per 100,000 of population, in which Israel ranks on the 181 countries in the world. The paper discusses the risk factors of Israel population with coronary heart disease as found by angiography. It has been researched that the women of Palestine have been found at the high risk of Coronary heart disease. The patterns of risk factors might be driven to the high incidence of acute myocardial infarction and death by Coronary heart disease in the population of Palestinian in Jerusalem (the capital of Israel). It has been discovered that high occurrence of diabetes, low socioeconomic status, frequent exposure to smoking, a minute alcohol intake and lack of exercise may create CHD infection (Natarajan, 2010). These risk factors will find to overcome the possible protective results of daily olive oil intake that was universally present in the patients of Palestinian.

Diabetes mellitus

Diabetes, Obesity and central Obesity are more dominant in Israeli Arab women. Few of the populations of Palestinians directed towards a high occurrence of the metabolic syndrome, particularly in women. In this population, impaired glucose metabolism might be a significant cause of the CHD high rates. The determinant receptiveness to diabetes and the complexity in Israel women in both lifestyle and genetic remain a dare that demands more investigation. Diabetes primary prevention among Israel should focus on the control of adequate glycemic and the aggressive intervention of coronary risk factors should be given an increased targets.
