What Makes the Culture of “SlumDog Millionaire” Unique?

Culture is not only language, attitude, behavior, clothing style, dance and music but there are other intricate factors that make up the culture. All these intricate factors are portrayed in this movie in a beautiful way. Using these intricate factors to depict culture is something that makes this movie to show a unique culture. This movie shows the culture that is prevalent in the life of slums in India. One of the most important factors of the culture that is reflected in the movie is the cultural dogma that women should be treated or handled by their men. The movie reflects the prejudices that are beholden by people. A normal person who lives in a slum area, spends his whole life in extreme poverty is not expected to possess the pearls of knowledge or talk like a prudent person.
