Implementation methods to Support the Curriculum Development

Curriculum development is an important characteristic in ensuring that the students are taught in the right manner and that they have to develop the correct format of curriculum. It is important that the students get to know about their curriculum and that the authorities plan and develop curriculum in a manner which will assist the student in learning in the most efficient and beneficial manner. The curriculum that has been planned is for two different classes i.e. the primary school curriculum and the early childhood curriculum framework. After the curriculum has been developed, it should be implemented so that the success rate of the curriculum can be gauged.

For the purpose of implementing the curriculum, it should be made sure that the curriculum is well communicated to the people who are responsible. This will help the students in learning in a better manner and will also prove to be effective for them. Another manner in which the school can implement the curriculum is by developing a pilot program for a year (UNESCO, n.d.). This will help the school in analyzing whether the curriculum is appropriate for the students or not and how well have the students been performing under the new curriculum. With this, the school will also be able to compare the new curriculum with the previous curriculum and will also help the students in identifying whether they can perform better in the new curriculum or not. Drawbacks of the new curriculum system will be identified and steps will be taken to avoid those limitations in future for effective implementation of the curriculum.

Justification

The most appropriate implementation method is piloting the curriculum program for a year. This will be effective and will also help the students in ensuring that they work in the most efficient manner and get to learn more. With this, the students will be able to compare and contrast their performance with the previous curriculum. They will also be able to gauge as to which curriculum and performance system has helped them in learning more. Curriculum does not only include academics, rather it also includes the grooming and development of the individuals. It helps the individuals in learning as to how they should carry themselves and how they should interact with others. All the etiquettes and manners are taught at school which means that it is a part of their curriculum (www.education.ie).

Early childhood education and primary education are the foundations and are very basic for the students; therefore, they should be able to make sure that the curriculum is developed in the right manner and also make sure that the student is able to again something from it. As the students are very young to evaluate as to which curriculum is better, the parents will be involved in the evaluation phase. They will present their ideas and judgments of the two curriculum systems and the one with the best results ...
