Introduction

My targeted outcomes that I aim to get out of this action research is to explore new techniques to formally assess, enhance and develop student's learning through improving my teaching practice when assessing for learning during lessons. My aim is to use and examine different methods of providing descriptive feedbacks to pupils during my lessons.

I believe that the biggest challenge for teachers for meeting needs of individual learners is that they have to keep balance on performing roles to promote inclusion of education and meeting target of national attainments. Another challenge is that teachers are required to contribute in the inclusion and deconstruction of segregation in their settings for believing that it is a solution to tackle social exclusion in education and inequalities. Whereas struggle for meeting all these expectations, teachers do not only have to take burden of making an attempt for making inclusion work but also have to face disappointment if expected results of inclusion fails to materialize. Another challenges is that teachers have to consider all kinds of students while making plan for them and if they make any difficult plan, then most of the pupil will not be able to compete with it and teachers cannot achieve what their desired results. Whereas, if teachers makes any plan which is too easy for the students, then they also cannot achieve their desired outcome in this case as well (Brophy, 1986).

The National Curriculum has been strict on its provided guidelines and if teachers are not able to make their curriculum according to guidelines of National Curriculum, then administration of school and teachers faces strong resistance from local authorities and they have to change their curriculum. On the other hand, if teachers do not consider inclusion in education, then they also have to face tough resistance from parents and some other organizations therefore, it is not easy to meet individual needs of learners as per the directives of National Curriculum and policies of inclusion.
